Anne Curtis
Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is an actor, TV presenter, artist on record and entrepreneur. She received many accolades throughout her professional career. Her nominations included twice for Gawad Urian Award. Curtis was in the roles of Hiram Kampanerang in the films (2005), Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2007) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel included her as Komiks famous Dyesebel. Also, she hosted the Showtime noontime show (2009-2010) Anne Curtis is a Filipina Australian actress, model and television host. Her achievements include numerous awards throughout her time in the industry, including the two FAMAS Awards, a Luna Award and two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards in addition to five PMPC Star Awards in the television segment. Moreover, she is also being nominated to win 2 Gawad Urian Awards as well as 8 PMPC Star Awards For Movies. Curtis was a part of a range of television series such as Hiram (2004 from 2004 to the year 2005), Maging Sino Dyosa (2005), Green Rose (2011), Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003) and Kampanerang Kuba (2005). The year 2014 saw her portrayed the role of Komiks famous Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. The actress was also host of It's showtime, a noontime variety program (2009-2020). Curtis was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia her parents were Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father was married to Ojales who was a Filipina from Bolinao in the year 1982. Her older sister Jasmine is also an actor. Clare died of a heart disease in 2007, when she was only four months old.
